FAQs

What can I expect during a home visit?
Think of it as a cozy, judgment-free, consultation in the comfort of your home, I am there to serve you. We’ll chat about your birth story and your goals, observe a feeding session, and check baby's latch and weight, and volume of the feed. Together, we’ll create a sustainable plan that feels right for your family. No need to clean the house or even get out of your pajamas. Initial visits last 60-120 minutes, you'll want to block at least 2h for our initial visit.
How soon can you see me?
Breastfeeding challenges don't usually wait, so I prioritize urgent requests. I typically offer appointments within 1-3 days. If you’re in pain, or baby isn't feeding, please mention that when you reach out. If I cannot see you in a timely enough manner, I will refer you to a trusted colleague.
Do you accept insurance?
I am currently able to accept some insurance plans, please fill out the contact info to see if your insurance is covered, and I will send you a link to check coverage. When insurance coverage is available, it is typical to have 3-6 visits 100% covered. If I am out-of-network, I provide a detailed "superbill" that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

Can you help if I’m using formula or pumping?
Absolutely. Compassionate care means supporting how you choose to feed your baby. I am here to support your goals, whether you are exclusively breastfeeding, pumping, using donor milk, supplementing with formula, or desiring to stop breastfeeding. I am here to help you do it safely and confidently.
My baby is older—is it too late for a consultation?
It is never too late! While many visits happen in the first few weeks, I help moms through every stage, including returning to work, starting solids, or navigating the weaning process.
Do you offer any packages or discounts?
Yes! I offer a 3-visit package at 10% off. And returning clients get $50 off their first visit.
